A book that relates an alternative history of the Isle of Ely through stories about its active ghost population.

by Margaret Haynes and Vivienne Doughty

Any place with an inhabited past is bound to have ghosts and Ely is no exception. This is a selection of stories about a few former citizens whose return to their previous haunts has been spotted by many present citizens. The information for this book was collected by Margaret Haynes from people who live in this small city, and from the accounts of those who have passed by at some time in their lives. Vivienne Doughty is the ghost writer.
